Engaged: Jen and Brandon!

Jen is a friend of mine/sis-in law's/family, and I am always honored when a friend wants me to shoot her wedding. She and Brandon will be getting married next October, and since we knew their wedding day would be filled with fall leaves and warm colors, Jen wanted her engagement pics to reflect the cooold winter. Those who know me know I'm NOT a cold weather kind of girl...so luckily for me there wasn't any snow on the ground :)

We started at Lindenwood University, which is where Jen and Brandon met (long before they started dating)

They have these cool swings all over the campus...

In front of Jen's old dorm, also where Brandon proposed!

Then over to Main St. for a cup o' coffee for some warmth...

You can tell that Brandon makes Jen laugh, a lot!



For some reason I just liked the pineapple and other fruits decorating the door here...




Sorry it took me a few days to get these up guys! my BRAND NEW imac crashed on Wednesday...can you believe it? So I am now working on another brand new computer. Crazy!

Vorwerk Family!

This weekend I met up with the Vorwerk family for some family photos...we had some bad luck with scheduling...the first time it ended up being pitch black and crazy windy...this time it was beautiful but COLD!! I guess winter is finally here, sigh. We shot as quick as we could to get the kiddos out of the wind, but came up with some great stuff!

We went to the train tracks on a Thomas hunt...

When we couldn't find Thomas, our little friend kept asking us if we could go to Chicago to see him!

We managed a few smiles even in the cold. I know how she feels, I really dislike cold! I mean, really!

This one is just too sweet...

Blankets definitely helped...
